The program has continually evolved to meet changing agency requirements and now supports more than 50,000 orders annually. SEWP is self-funded through a 0.34% surcharge and provides acquisition support across the federal government.

The NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool is the recommended way to request pricing and conduct acquisition research. It may be used for Requests for Quote (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Market Research Requests (MRRs) and catalog requests.
