THE MISSION: NAVY SEAL FOUNDATION

The Navy SEAL Foundation provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and its families. They support approximately 9,000 Naval Special Warfare personnel, including more than 2,300 active-duty Navy SEALs and 600 Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen operating throughout the world, in addition to reserve personnel, support personnel and their families. Established in 2000 and headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA., the Navy SEAL Foundation is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt, national, non-profit benevolent organization.

The Navy SEAL Foundation’s specialized programs are focused under five main areas of support:

• Warrior and Family Support
• Educational Opportunities
• Tragedy Assistance and Survivor Support
• Warrior Transition
• Legacy Preservation

The foundation’s comprehensive set of programs are specifically designed to improve health and welfare, build and enhance resiliency, empower and educate families and provide critical support during times of illness, injury, loss and transition.

THE EVENT: JOGGIN’ FOR FROGMEN

Inspired by U.S. Navy SEALs (Frogmen), the Navy SEAL Foundation’s Joggin’ for Frogmen Race Series brings communities and families together to jog in honor of Navy SEALs (Frogmen), the military heroes who have sacrificed their lives while protecting our country, veterans, and families of the fallen.

All proceeds from the Joggin’ for Frogmen Race Series support the Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission of providing immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community, their families, families of the fallen, wounded and transitioning SEALs. ADS is proud to be a sponsor for Joggin’ for Frogmen and work with the Navy SEAL Foundation for 5k runs in both San Diego, CA and Virginia Beach, VA.
