Developed by Hendrick Motorsports, the STEED significantly enhances soldier's capabilities, squad’s close combat lethality, and human performance during dismounted operations. STEED maximizes small unit dominance through lethal payload transport, increased maneuver and mobility, rapid 1:1 casualty evacuation, and allows the soldier to arrive on objective at a lower cost of physical exertion, allowing for enhanced performance. LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT, BATTERY POWERED

The system is powered by a lightweight, changeable LiFePO4 battery pack that weights 21 pounds. The system can export power for charging a units essential electrical gear and also integrates with the squad power management pack for ease of adaptability.

STEED is constructed of a durable lightweight steel alloy material and breaks down to a compact form factor for ease of transport. The platform is operable at variable speeds in both forward and reverse at 0 to 6.5 mph.
