ADS SECURES NEW CONTRACT TO SUPPORT AIR FORCE FIREFIGHTERS

Expands Beach Firm’s Presence in Fire Emergency, First Responder Markets

Virginia Beach, VA – ADS, Inc., a Virginia Beach-based defense contractor, has been awarded a new five and a half-year federal contract to serve the nation’s Air Force firefighters with the industry’s most advanced protective gear and equipment, officials announced today.

The new Department of Defense contract comes as ADS works to expand its global gear and equipment offerings in the fire emergency services and first responder markets.

Under the contract, the company will rely on two trusted equipment vendors to supply Air Force firefighters, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve installations with protective firefighting gear.

Ricochet Manufacturing Co. Inc., a Philadelphia-based small business, will supply structural and proximity-protective firefighting clothing, while Honeywell First Responder Products of Dayton, OH, will supply leather firefighting boots.

The indefinite delivery and quantity contract runs through March 30, 2023, ADS officials said.
