ROCHESTER, N.Y. (September 3, 2015) — Six15 Technologies received orders for wearable displays, valued at $1.1 million. The company is working with Virginia Beach, Va. based contractor ADS Inc, on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). The contract was awarded through the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA) Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) program. These displays will be used with tactical ISR receivers to provide UAV video information on the battlefield. Six15 Technologies is the world leader in researching, developing and manufacturing wearable optical displays.
