A Mission-Driven Solution to Protect Those Who Serve

Delivering the Mark-1

Built For The Challenge

The Air Force needed a light, agile firetruck capable of being loaded onto a C-130 and deployed to remote, challenging locations—because lives depended on it. Partnering with ADS and Ward Apparatus, they envisioned, designed, and brought the MARK-1 to life through the DLA contract.

THE ORIGIN STORY

THE CHALLENGE:

The US Air Force determined then need for the MARK-1 capability based on projections of future warfighting tactics with regard to the great power competition (GPC.)

THE SOLUTION:

A light, mobile vehicle was required for quick
deployment in areas where large fire trucks were
not feasible. The primary objective was pilot
rescue and contingency location team support,
necessitating a vehicle for three firefighters,
fire suppression, pilot egress tools, and the
transportation of incapacitated members.

"The Mark-1 is a well-thought-out solution for modern combat and rescue operations, combining essential firefighting tools with the mobility needed for modern warfare and emergency response."
