ADS SOCOM’s Michael Sprouse awarded Legion of Merit medal
Atlantic Diving Supply is proud to announce that Michael Sprouse, ADS Regional Area Manager SOCOM, was awarded the US military’s Legion of Merit medal last week by his Alma Mater, the 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson, Colo.
Michael, who retired from the U. S. Army Special Operations Command last year after 32 years of honorable service, received the honor from Lieutenant Colonel Rob Rowe, GSB Commander.
“Throughout his service, Chief Warrant Officer Four Sprouse’s remarkable leadership, tactical and technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to duty were major factors in the unit’s success during the Nation’s history, " said Mike Pena, ADS SOCOM Vertical Manager.
Skilled in Operations Management, Operational Planning, Force Protection, Military Operations, and National Security, Michael joined ADS in March 2020. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) focused in Operations Management from Colorado Technical University.
Since 1942, the Legion of Merit award has been given for “exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.” The decoration is issued to members of the eight uniformed services of the United States as well as to military and political figures of foreign governments.
