Escalation of Force

Escalation of Force (EOF), was developed as a U.S. rule of engagement in an effort to avoid unnecessary civilian and U.S. Military casualties at home and abroad.

GSA Advantage

One of the greatest threats U.S. forces face in theater are insurgent suicide attacks. These kits were developed to execute the rules of engagement pertaining to Escalation of Force to protect soldiers that are exposed as they stand watch at check points or ride through country in their vehicles.

ADS worked with the Rapid Equipping Force (REF) to bring the critical EOF components together and provide just-in-time support for these kits. All EOF Kit items are approved for acquisition through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) supported Special Operational Equipment TLS Contract (formerly Prime Vendor) and are kitted and warehoused at ADS. ADS continues to provide technological, procurment and logistics support for this requirement as Escalation of Force evolves.

ADS EOF kits are divided into two different types – Traffic Control Point (TCP) kits and convoy kits

Both the EOF TCP and Convoy Kits are available in three separate configurations based on customer requirements:

Escalation of Force Kits

Traffic Control Point Kits

A traffic control point (TCP) is a designated spot on the ground, on a road network or in a static garrison-type environment where Military Police (or other designated units) control the traffic flow.

In addition to the Traffic Control Point (TPC) Kits, Convoy Kits were developed as part of the EOF Kits to protect soldiers as they ride through country in their vehicles.
