ADS Equipment Programs represent large-scale, broad-reaching operational and tactical equipment initiatives, providing necessary operational equipment solutions to keep our military efficient and effective.
EOF | Escalation of Force Kits
ADS worked with the Rapid Equipping Force (REF) to bring the critical EOF components together and provide just-in-time support for this kit. All of the items were approved for acquisition through the DLA supported Prime Vendor program, then kitted and warehoused at ADS. ADS continues to provide technological, procurement and logistics support for this requirement as Escalation of Force evolves.
Escalation of Force (EOF) was developed as a U.S. rule of engagement in an effort to avoid unnecessary civilian and U.S. Military casualties at home and abroad. One of the greatest threats U.S. forces face in theater are insurgent suicide attacks. This kit was developed to execute the rules of engagement pertaining to Escalation of Force to protect soldiers that are exposed as they stand watch at check points or ride through country in their Humvees.

MARCORSYSCOM MIAK | Marine Individual Assault Kit
ADS assisted with the design and integration of the initial version of MIAK kits in 2004. This kit includes more than 75 items and is currently provided by ADS under the NSN number.
ADS is the primary source of supply for the MIAK, a specialty Close Quarter Battle Equipment (CQBE) kit for U.S. Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalions, Force Reconnaissance Companies, Radio Reconnaissance Platoons, and Special Operations Battalions. The MIAK and its subcomponents have been extensively field-tested by Fleet Marine Force as well as various elements of U.S. Special Operations Command and are approved for MARCORSYSCOM.
MACK | Modern Army Combatives Kit
ADS worked with the U.S. Army to develop Berry Complaint sources for all of the items in the MACK and integrate them into a brigade level kit to be issued to the entire field.
The MACK is used primarily as a Modern Army Combatives Program (MACP) Level III and IV course training component. The MACK provides real-time, tactile feedback during close quarters combat (CQC) and close quarters battle (CQB) training scenarios. The MACK utilizes protective personal equipment (PPE), striking gear, and training weapons in various CQC and CQB individual and squad training scenarios. The MACK allows users to safely replicate combatives training events that contribute to increased combat effectiveness in Army defined scenarios.
VBSS | U.S. Navy Visit Board Search and Seizure
ADS is the first company to consolidate the VBSS AEL for the U.S. Navy and provide all items to all fleet vessels. ADS has provided these items under multiple contracts works closely with the U.S. Navy to research, develop and provide equipment on the VBSS AEL.
EOD | EOD Schoolhouse
ADS standardized the initial issue for all EOD recruits coming out of the EOD training program in Florida. Through multiple contracts ADS continues to issue all tactical EOD equipment required by EOD Schoolhouse.
All operational and tactical clothing systems provided by ADS, Inc. are designed to keep the military efficient and effective overseas. ADS, Inc. is under contract with the U.S. Army to source and integrate two clothing systems, the GEN III ECWCS and FREE. Both military tactical clothing systems contain multiple layers and components produced by several technical garment manufacturers.
The GEN III ECWCS is the next step up in protection from GEN II and is designed to be more than cold weather clothing. As an extended climate warfighter clothing system, GEN III has seven layers and a 12 component system. FREE, the Fire Resistant Environmental Ensemble, uses a 16 layer system designed to protect the wearer from flame and heat threats in combat. Both tactical clothing systems are designed to be functional in cold and wet climates, as well.
Aside from military tactical clothing, other gear offered by ADS, Inc. for such missions includes operational and tactical equipment, such as the Escalation of Force (EOF) kit. ADS worked with Rapid Equipping Force to bring several EOF parts together that were developed to avoid unnecessary casualties and to protect soldiers while abroad or at home. ADS, Inc. provides other kits, as well, for similar purposes, such as the Marine Individual Assault Kit (MIAK) and the Modern Army Combatives Kit (MACK).
