Traffic Control Point (TCP) kits are designed as military police Escalation of Force kits. All are designed for traffic control goals at home and abroad with advanced devices. Three variations of this kit are made through ADS, Inc. that feature a combination of a voice translation device, speed bumps, traffic cones with power flares, spike strips, a watertight case, carrying bags, and a lighting system.
Escalation Of Force (EOF) Traffic Control Point (TCP) Kits
A traffic control point (TCP) is a designated spot on the ground, on a road network or in a static garrison-type environment where Military Police (or other designated units) control the traffic flow.
ADS has developed three specific variations of the EOF TCP kit:
Kit 1 – EOFKIT-TCP:

Kit 3 – EOFKIT-TCP-D:
An enhanced kit with substitute transport systems for kit components and Pelican Remote Area Lighting System)
The three goals in point control of traffic are orderly movement of traffic in accordance with traffic control plans, no unnecessary traffic delays and minimum essential control methods. These goals should be accomplished with maximum use of traffic control devices, relieving MP’s of this duty when possible.
Traffic control points should be used in the following situations:
- Road network is inadequate to accommodate traffic.
- Serious delays or congestion occur or are anticipated.
- Traffic studies indicate a particular need for control.
- Security of designated persons requires special control.
- Interruptions of traffic flow are reported to Military Police.
- A location becomes unsafe.
