Safariland, one of the prominent manufacturers of holsters and tactical gear, designs products for law enforcement, the military, and competitive shooters. Safariland began as a holster business and was acquired by Armor Holdings over time with other tactical brands. Later, the company became part of BAE Systems. In addition to various holsters, Safariland offers Hatch gloves and Monadnock batons.
The SLS Tactical Holster is one such Safariland product offered by ADS, Inc. This tactical holster uses a self-locking system with a hood guard and gives a smooth, single-motion draw. The Universal Military Beretta M9 Holster has many of the same features but is designed for M9 and 92F pistols.
