HDT uses advanced techniques in engineering technologies, development, and rapid prototyping. Such services are provided to customers in government, defense, technology, and aerospace. HDT Engineered Technologies is the leader in developing advanced, fully-integrated deployable solutions. This expeditionary equipment by HDT covers military tents, shelters, generators, heaters, and air filtration systems.
The Vertigo AIMS is one of the shelters designed by HDT. Sold through ADS, Vertigo AIMS is the largest rapidly-deployable air supported shelter in the world and meets the Army’s operational requirements for an aviation maintenance shelter large enough to hold a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The Vertigo STAT 2, similarly, is ideal as a general use shelter. The most advanced tactical shelter selected by the U.S. Army for Force Provider, the Vertigo STAT 21 has rapid deployment features and strike time capabilities that exceed military requirements for general purpose field tents.
Other structures by HDT are used on a larger scale such as the HDT Base-X Model 8D36, a dome-shaped military tent with a span of 31 feet. Used for Command and Control, maintenance, and Tactical Operations Center, the tent has eight entry and egress points and can be set up without tools, ladders, and mechanical devices.
