The Individual Casualty Treatment Kit gives every combatant the ability to perform self-aid & buddy aid prior to medical care. Kit includes the required supplies to treat airway, breathing and life threatening hemorrhage injuries. These are the three leading causes of death on the battlefield. The pouch is designed to be attached directly on a gun-belt or to the MOLLE system on a backpack so that it is guaranteed to be in reach when it's needed most.
