TACP™

The TACP™ Beacon is a high intensity beacon designed for long distance signaling. Primarily used as a Drop Zone (DZ), Landing Zone (LZ) and IR reference marker, the beacons flat top design emits a directional signal engineered to maximize ground-to-air signal while minimizing the ground-to-ground signal. Powered by six 9 - Volt lithium or alkaline batteries providing 200+ hours of continuous operation, the TACP beacon can be seen by aircraft at distances up to twenty nautical miles.
