The face of warfare and the equipment used in it is an ever changing environment where something that worked perfectly in its original application is found wanting in another. While it is perfectly adequate for flight operation, the low profile ANVIS battery pack is not mission capable for ground operations. Simply put: it's not water resistant, it's not rugged, and it doesn't accept 3V lithium batteries. In a world where infantry soldiers are more commonly using ANVIS and PVS-23 systems, a new battery pack was needed; and here it is.

The new Air Ground Warrior Battery Pack (AI/AGWBP) is water resistant. It is rugged. It accepts BOTH AA and 3V Lithium batteries. The AI/AGWBP is the answer to the problem facing special forces, infantry and other forces in the field.
