Protective Combat Uniform (PCU) Layer 7 – Jacket, Vest & Pants. High loft insulation designed to be worn over shell components of the PCU in static situations. Protective shell, water-resistant and breathable. Type 1 – Cold weather jacket. Mess pockets to dry out gloves and socks. Type 2 Jacket is sized to go over armor and light assault packs. Zipper, drawstring and Velcro closure system. Vest can be combined with level 7 jacket for -50 degrees. Pants are sized to wear over other insulation and boots. Reinforced seat and knees.
