Bates Footwear, of parent company Wolverine World Wide, is one of the largest suppliers of footwear to the US government. ADS, Inc. offers many boots by Bates in our catalog. Many of these boots are created with Gore-Tex and Vibram technologies. Desert Durashock boots, for example, are designed for rough terrain. Each of these eight-inch tall boots is made with a shock-absorbing pad added to the outsole. Bates uniform footwear for desert use also includes the M-8. Tropical SEALS Durashocks Boots, on the other hand, are often used by Navy SEALS during training and are made with the energy transfer technology of Durashock.
